The bill (Reg. No. 2291) suggests to return the provisions of the Law “On Production-Sharing Agreements” that existed until the end of 2012, in particular, provisions regarding interdepartmental commission on preparing and implementing production-sharing agreements as a consultative body of the Cabinet of Ministers.
The Committee considered also alternative draft law (Reg. No. 2291-1) on amendments to the Law “On Production-Sharing Agreements” regarding state regulation of preparing and implementation of the agreements.
Following the discussion, the Committee decided to recommend that the Verkhovna Rada should adopt as a basis the draft law under no. 2291, taking into account the constructive provisions of the bill under no. 2291-1 during its elaboration.
